The main goal of AMP is to significantly improve the user experience by ensuring that content is displayed almost instantly. The technology achieves this by limiting the use of certain complex elements (such as JavaScript by default) and by imposing strict rules for optimizing code, images, and how content is cached.
Thanks to this optimization, pages built with AMP are often served directly from a specially designed content delivery network (CDN), which further reduces loading times for mobile users.
