Direct response television marketing (DRTV) is a form of direct marketing that uses television as a medium. It includes direct response television commercials (short advertisements that urge the viewer to immediately call or visit a website) or informational programs and home shopping channels.

DRTV campaigns are highly performance-focused, clearly measuring the effectiveness of the ad based on the number of immediate orders or inquiries. A key element is providing a strong, clear, and time-limited offer that stimulates an immediate response from the viewer.
