Flipping (TV Context)

Flipping is the act of using a TV remote to switch or change channels quickly, often moving through different programs during a single viewing session.

Flipping is also called channel surfing, or zapping.

Usually, people flip channels to find something interesting to watch, avoid commercials, or catch multiple shows or events happening at the same time.
