Manufacturers’ Sales Branches and Offices

Manufacturer’s branches and offices are a form of wholesaling that is carried out by the sellers or buyers themselves, rather than through independent wholesalers. This is a direct wholesale channel owned by the manufacturer.

Branches (with inventory) and offices (without inventory) are established to better control inventory, sales, and promotion, especially for recurring products or those that require specialized service. They allow the manufacturer to bypass independent wholesalers and reduce wholesale costs.
