Prices

More and more online businesses are realizing that the pricing page does more than just show how much something costs. In fact, it could be one of the last (or first) great marketing tools. You can use the pricing page to convince and/or direct your customers to the most mutually beneficial option for your services (or products).

Price Variations

Different products have different values - that’s normal. But you could offer a little more, with a bigger markup. For example, fast food chains like, say, McDonalds do it. You choose a Big Mac, but they immediately offer you to take it on the menu, it’s an easy solution – you get a Coke and fries. However, you could take a small, medium and large menu, and with each increase in the size of the menu, you pay more and more, but the profit for McDonalds becomes larger, because they give less and less. After they give you the small car for X lv., the average increases a little in quantity, but a lot more in price. McDonalds, of course, has preferences for what you buy – that is, products with the highest profit margin.

When offering your products or services, you should consider and present your potential customers with options to choose from. Options that provide little real value but a lot of perceived value.

What you are offering for the extra money should be clearly described, as well as what your customers won’t get when they choose the more budget-friendly option.

Highlight the best choice

When you determine what is the best choice for you and your customers – highlight it, find a way to make it stand out.

Payment Frequency

As you will see in our article about toggles, it is good when offering a subscription service to make it clear to your customers for what period the advertised price is, and of course – to reward them for choosing a longer period.

Easy access to payment

The pricing page should provide an opportunity for your customers to purchase at the moment they decide – no need to scroll up and down the screen and search for a button.

Also, if you have a grace period, make it visible so that users can easily understand the terms.

It is good if the payment buttons are accompanied by some form of symbolization of payment security. The logo of a bank or other institution that processes your payments would help with this. Where appropriate, you can also use a padlock icon as a symbol, as it is associated with security on the internet.

Refund Policy

It is extremely valuable to have a sound refund policy, especially for new customers. Buying from a new place is usually associated with concerns about “will I receive the product”, “what if I’m not satisfied”, “what will I do if it doesn’t fit me” and other barriers that could be overcome easily and quickly – promise and keep the promise that if there is a problem with the product, you will refund the amount.

This will reassure your potential customers and make shopping with you easier and more relaxed.
