Primary Data

Primary Data is information that is collected specifically for a current, specific purpose or research question. Unlike secondary data (which already exists), primary data requires time-consuming and more expensive collection methods.

Primary data collection methods include observational studies, questionnaire surveys, and experimental research. Their advantage is that they are relevant and specific to the current problem, while the disadvantage is the high cost and time of collection.
