Product Line Pricing

Product line pricing is a strategy that sets price levels for products in a product line based on differences in costs and customer perceptions of value across products.

In this approach, management must set price points for different items in the line (e.g., “economy,” “standard,” “premium” models). The goal is for the price to reflect perceived features and encourage customers to upgrade to more expensive models.
