Salesperson

A salesperson is a person who represents a company to customers by performing one or more of the following activities: prospecting, communicating, selling, servicing, gathering information, and building relationships.

The role of the salesperson has changed from simply being a “salesperson” to a “relationship manager.” In modern marketing, the salesperson acts as a “liaison” between the company and the customer, working closely with the customer to solve their problems and add value.
