Service Inseparability

Service Inseparability is an important characteristic of services, which states that they are produced and consumed simultaneously and cannot be separated from those who deliver them.

This means that the employee providing the service is part of the service itself (e.g. hairdresser, doctor, lecturer). Service quality occurs at the moment of interaction. Marketing strategies should focus on employee management (internal marketing) and interaction management (moments of truth).
