UR stands for URL Rating. This is a proprietary link metric developed by the marketing platform Ahrefs to quantify an individual page’s authority and organic ranking potential based on its inbound and outbound links. A similar metric is PA (Page Authority), created by the platform Moz. A higher URL Rating indicates greater authority and ranking potential for that specific page. UR is considered the counterpart to Ahrefs’ other link metric, DR (Domain Rating).
