UI/UX Design F.A.Q.

What is UI/UX Design?

UI/UX Design is the practice of creating interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that are visually appealing, easy to use, and aligned with user needs and business goals.

What’s the difference between UI and UX?
UI is about how things look and how users interact visually. UX is about how the site or app feels, how it’s structured, and how it satisfies user needs.
Why is UI/UX important?
Good design improves usability, increases user satisfaction, boosts conversion rates, and reduces the cost of fixing design mistakes later.
What tools are used for UI/UX design?

Common tools include Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Photoshop for design and collaboration.

Working with me, you can get a design made either with Figma or Adobe XD, whichever is preffered by your web developers.

How long does a UI/UX design project take?
Simple projects may take 2–4 weeks, while complex platforms can take several months, depending on requirements and scope.
How much does UI/UX design cost?
Costs vary greatly — from $1,000–$5,000 for a basic site, to $10,000–$50,000+ for a complex app or SaaS platform.
What are wireframes?
Simple, low-fidelity sketches that map out page layout and structure before adding design elements.
What is a prototype?
An interactive, realistic version of your design used for user testing and validation before development.
Will I get the design files?
Of course, once you are satisfied with the design, you will gain full access to it.

The design files (Figma or Adobe XD) are delivered upon project completion.

How is UX design different from graphic design?

UX design focuses on user flows, behavior, and problem-solving. Graphic design focuses primarily on visual aesthetics.

Will you collaborate with our developers?

Of course, I work closely with developers to hand off files, review implementations, and clarify specifications.

Do you redesign existing websites or apps?

Yes. I evaluate existing platforms, identify pain points, and redesign for a better user experience.

On that topic you could either check the Website Redesign page or contact me directly.
